It was until this week that I discovered a new version of 'Strange Fruit' on Banned From New York City - Live 1948-1957, Vol. 1/2, 8 years after the official release in 2016. Have a listen to the new Strange Fruit.
The 3-CD 'Lady In Satin - The Centennial Edition' was added with many previously unreleased takes of the songs recorded in februari, 1958.
Most of the CD-tracks on this CD contain multiple takes of the same song. I have split the CD-tracks into 33 new tracks for the Billie Holiday Discography website
Then I had to 'remap' the old 'Lady in Satin' albums to these new tracks. It was a lot of work but fun to do :-)
